Not many rappers can find their footing in the landscape of a Host Bodies beat. Colorado-based emcee Ryland, however, hits the road running on a long-overdue boom-bap joint that encodes shamanic imagery into underground rhyme schemes. Jungle vines, Hofner bass strings, and synth cables will entangle listeners along the way—don't trip!

This is a track that gives no fucks about genre. Yeah, there’s rappers. Sure, there’s heavy metal power chords. Pan drum, kalimba, and tabla? Check. Trunk-rattling sub bass. You bet.
